Senior Software Engineer - (.Net and Angular) OTC Product Area

SimCorp is a leading provider of integrated investment management solutions with over 3,000 employees globally, serving hundreds of corporate clients worldwide. The company is an independent subsidiary of the Deutsche Börse Group and recently merged with Axioma to offer comprehensive front-to-back investment management products. The role is part of SimCorp’s Product Division, focusing on the SimCorp Dimension system used in the financial industry.

• Excellent skills in Angular for developing dynamic and responsive web applications.
• Good skills in Azure cloud services and deployment.
• Good C# skills with insight into the .NET framework and object-oriented programming.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Understanding of Service-Oriented Architectures.
• Interest and ability to work with complex backend system architecture.
• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have:

• Some experience with or willingness to learn functional programming languages such as OCaml, Standard ML, F#, Scala, or Haskell.
• Motivated to work in the financial domain.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to develop and maintain automated tests and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Ability to identify technical debt.
• Ability to work in a hybrid virtual and physical work environment.

• Develop core functionality to support business modules.
• Build new UI and backend solutions following Angular best practices.
• Maintain existing code base.
• Review product code and formulate test scenarios.
• Collaborate with product management to refine new features.
• Continuously learn and develop personal, team, and product capabilities.
