Software Engineer

• Solid software engineering experience in Go and/or C++, with scripting proficiency in Python or Bash for automation and operational tooling.
• Experience deploying and operating cloud-native applications at scale in SaaS or containerized on-premises environments.
• Ability to participate effectively in technical design reviews and communicate engineering trade-offs.
• Capability to work mostly independently, make technical decisions, and adapt to fast-changing environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English.

Nice to have:

• Experience authoring Kubernetes-native software such as Kubernetes Operators and Controllers for stateful systems.
• Deep understanding of cloud-based databases, especially PostgreSQL and modern NoSQL technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins), and networking/security fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, API gateways, service mesh, TLS).
• Practical experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
• Innovative mindset with a drive to learn emerging technologies and solve complex problems creatively.

• Develop and maintain Splunk Platform components across AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, and on-premises infrastructure.
• Implement, test, and deploy distributed systems.
• Perform implementation, debugging, testing, code review, and production investigation.
• Apply software engineering best practices in distributed systems programming including performance tuning and reliability engineering.
• Monitor and improve service health indicators, observability, SLOs, and recovery testing.
• Support incident diagnosis and reduce operational risk through quality assurance and automation.
• Promote continuous learning, innovation, and new technology exploration within an agile environment.
• Mentor and guide junior and entry-level engineers, encouraging knowledge sharing and growth.
