Mid-Level Java Developer – Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

This role is for a developer working for a client who is a global leader in banking and financial services. The position is based in Kraków with a hybrid work model, focusing on enhancing HSBC’s digital presence using Adobe Experience Manager.

• 2+ years of professional experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
• Strong Java expertise and understanding of web technologies
• Hands-on experience with Apache Sling, OSGi, and JCR
• Proficiency in REST services, JUnit, Maven, Git, and SonarQube
• Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager apps and online content delivery
• Familiarity with modern development practices and tools

• Design and implement scalable AEM services to power HSBC’s public websites and campaigns
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment and delivery
• Migrate and modernize existing functionality onto OSGi-based architecture to improve performance and security
• Leverage Sling and JCR to develop resilient, maintainable digital solutions
• Develop, test, and maintain AEM applications, enhancing online customer experiences
• Ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing and code reviews
• Support ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of digital assets
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the digital platform and processes
