Senior UX Engineer

We are looking for a Senior UX Engineer to co-lead the internal design system, ShadCN-based UI libraries, and UI standards for a leading global financial institution. This is a highly technical, hands-on role bridging the gap between Figma architecture and production-ready React/TypeScript code across a massive, data-dense enterprise ecosystem.

• 8+ years in front-end, UX engineering, or design-system engineering.
• Heavy experience managing large, comprehensive Figma design systems including tokens, variants, and governance.
• Deep production experience with React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, ShadCN UI, and Radix UI.
• Strong practical knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards across complex workflows.
• Ability to enforce standards smoothly across engineering, design, and product teams.

Nice to have:

• Experience with capital markets, trading UIs, real-time grids, or financial charts.
• Experience with modern tooling such as monorepos, shared packages, Turborepo, or Nx.
• Desktop interop experience with FDC3, OpenFin, Tauri, or WebView2.

• Maintain ShadCN UI asset libraries and translate Figma patterns into production-ready React/TypeScript components.
• Set firmwide standards for tokens, variants, interaction states, layouts, and Figma libraries.
• Partner with application teams to review workflows and improve UI consistency and usability.
• Write clean documentation, build examples, and run code reviews to raise front-end quality standards.
