System Automation Engineer - AI & Python Developer Experience

Motorola Solutions is seeking specialists to develop mission-critical products in a cross-functional Product Team. The team focuses on creating a dispatch console product for modern operators, working on automating and transforming engineering environments enhanced by AI.

• Hands-on experience or strong interest in leveraging AI tools and agents for automation of environment setup, scripting, and operations.
• Experience with Python and scripting languages like Bash and Groovy for system automation, workflow scripting, and automated quality checks.
• Proficiency in environment automation using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Experience managing automated delivery pipelines and build tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Solid understanding of software delivery workflows, shift-left security, and dynamic execution environments.
• Experience with version control and SCM tools, specifically the Atlassian stack including Bitbucket and Jira.
• Practical knowledge of operating systems from both user and administrator perspectives (Linux or Windows).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and analytical approach to complex technical problems.
• English language proficiency at a communicative level for technical communication.

Nice to have:

• Experience integrating AI APIs (LLM orchestration) or AI coding agents into engineering workflows.
• Understanding of AWS core services and ephemeral environment provisioning.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and network services.

• Design and implement custom LLM-powered tools and AI agents to automate SDLC tasks including intelligent log analysis, deployment pipeline optimization, test maintenance, and environment troubleshooting.
• Build, maintain, and scale automated pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions for software builds, deployments, and security scanning.
• Develop intelligent scripts and quality checks in Python for validating environment stability, API integrations, and application health.
• Administer and scale infrastructure and dynamic environments using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Manage release promotion processes ensuring quality and validation of artifacts from Bitbucket to Artifactory and production.
• Collaborate cross-functionally between development, QA, and operations with Scrum teams in Kraków and globally.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation following the 'Documentation-as-Code' approach.
