Product Owner

Scalo delivers software projects and supports partners in business development. They create software that enables people to make changes faster and achieve better results. • Minimum 3 years of experience as Product Owner, Proxy Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience in gathering and defining business requirements and collaborating with IT teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience managing product backlogs and creating User Stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience conducting business workshops and working with stakeholders.
• Experience in business testing, solution acceptance, and change management.
• Knowledge of digital product lifecycle and software development processes.
• Ability to analyze business data, define KPIs, and assess solution effectiveness.
• Knowledge of claims handling processes and insurance market operations.
• Knowledge in AI, business process automation, and service digitization.

Nice to have:

• PSPO, CSPO, SAFe POPM, or equivalent certificate.
• Experience in AI, GenAI projects or business process automation.
• Participation in digital transformations in the insurance sector.
• Knowledge of BPMN, UML, or other process modeling notations.
• Knowledge of SQL and analytical/reporting tools.
• Experience in digital product development and Customer Journey design.

• Represent business needs in cooperation with development teams and stakeholders.
• Manage product backlog and prioritize business requirements.
• Define, refine, and accept User Stories and acceptance criteria.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements for implementation teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Refinement, Review, Retrospective).
• Coordinate collaboration between business, IT, architects, and external suppliers.
• Support implementations, business testing, and functional acceptance.
• Analyze and identify opportunities for AI, GenAI, and process automation.
• Design and develop digital claims processing workflows.
• Configure and parameterize business rules in systems supporting claims handling.
• Manage dependencies between products, processes, and organizational systems.
