This Data Operations Specialist role involves hands-on daily operational data tasks including security master setup, entity and master data administration, corporate actions processing, and exception resolution. The position supports trading desks, risk managers, and middle/back-office teams by ensuring accurate, timely, and reconciled data across global markets. It requires collaboration with internal teams and external vendors. It is an operational role focused on data accuracy rather than engineering or software development.

Proven experience with heavy data entry, static/reference data curation, and detailed exception handling.
Solid understanding of financial markets and instruments including Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives/Swaps.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Index/Match, Pivot Tables, and handling large data files.
Hands-on experience with the Bloomberg Terminal for data navigation and retrieval.
Familiarity with issue-tracking and workflow platforms such as Jira and ServiceNow.
High accountability, attention to detail, resilience with routine operational tasks, and strong English communication skills (C1 level).

Nice to have:

Working knowledge of SQL (simple queries, SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY) to inspect data directly in databases.
Prior experience with third-party reference data vendors and feeds.
Curiosity about optimizing or streamlining operations over time.

Obowiązki

Create, enrich, and validate security setups across diverse asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income, Listed Derivatives, CDS, IRS, and Structured/Exotic products).
Maintain firm-wide core data domains including Legal Entities, Accounts, Counterparties, Broker setups, and fee structures.
Review, verify, and reflect the impact of corporate actions on trading books, firm positions, and reporting engines.
Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, feed breaks, and reconciliation exceptions promptly.
Act as operational point of contact for traders, portfolio managers, risk teams, and middle-office specialists on static data inquiries.
Liaise with market data vendors and external counterparties to challenge discrepancies, track tickets, and ensure SLA adherence.
Maintain audit trails, update standard operating procedures (SOPs), and log issues using ticketing tools like Jira.

Benefity

Exposure to global investment management practices and institutional trading infrastructure.
Comprehensive benefits package including private medical healthcare, sports card, and life insurance.
Clear operational ownership within an international, collaborative team.
Stable and structured work environment focused on operational excellence.
