• 7+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails (puma/sidekiq/nginx)
• 5+ years of experience in front-end development (JavaScript, TypeScript, npm/yarn, Angular, Vue.js)
• 2+ years of experience with Docker
• 4+ years of experience with Bash/Linux (Ubuntu)
• Willingness to work in mission-critical legacy systems and co-drive their modernization

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of PHP/Laravel
• Knowledge of React.js
• Strong understanding of security topics
• Experience with async messaging systems, Web-Sockets, and WebRTC
• Basic+ proficiency in German language

• Designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Ruby and Ruby on Rails
• Developing new features and improving existing application functionality
• Writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Designing and implementing RESTful APIs and backend services
• Integrating third-party APIs and external services
• Working with relational databases and optimizing database queries
• Writing unit, integration, and automated tests
• Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving software defects and performance issues
• Conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards
