Senior Data Engineer - Azure & SQL Server

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or related field
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Data Lake Storage
• Proven experience with Azure Databricks for data processing and analytics
• Strong SQL Server and T-SQL development skills
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python programming
• Good knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modelling, and ETL/ELT concepts
• Experience delivering production-ready data solutions in Agile environments
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Design and build scalable data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks
• Work with modern cloud technologies and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub in an Agile environment
• Develop and maintain SQL Server and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) based data integration processes
• Apply Git-based development practices including branching, pull requests, and code reviews
• Optimise ETL and ELT processes for performance, stability, and data quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Troubleshoot production issues and maintain technical documentation
• Support data models and pipelines in production environments
