Systems Integration, Test and Deployment Engineer - TETRA/Dimetra

Motorola Solutions is a global company focused on building and connecting technologies for safer communities and environments. The role is within the Systems Integration team, involved with TETRA/Dimetra system-level integration, validation, and deployment.

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, ICT, Computer Science, Electronics, Automation, or related field.
• Solid understanding of IP networks (IPv4), routing protocols, TCP/IP, and RF signaling in telecommunications.
• Familiarity with Linux, Unix, Windows 10/11, and Windows Server operating systems.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approx. 60-70% of time).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in English for fluent communication.

Nice to have:

• Experience building IP networks and configuring network devices.
• Experience with Linux server hosting.
• Network traffic analysis skills with Wireshark.
• Advanced telecommunications knowledge.
• ISTQB certification.

• Analyze system requirements for Dimetra TETRA systems and design test scenarios.
• Execute functional system-level tests, analyze logs, debug applications, interfaces, and protocol stacks.
• Deploy, configure, and integrate Dimetra features and system updates at customer sites.
• Conduct final acceptance testing (SAT/FAT) and validation on customer infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and optimize systems during deployment using various debugging tools.
• Prepare system configurations for Transport Network, Base Stations, Core Servers, software applications, interfaces, and mobile subscribers for lab and system tests.
• Serve as a technical point of contact for clients during roll-out.
• Collaborate with internal Architects, System Designers, and development teams.
• Utilize Agile/Scrum methodologies and balance manual testing with automated tests using AI.
