Junior/Mid QA Manager

At cloudatus, we help customers drive technical solution design, development and deployment and support them throughout their cloud journey. As an all-cloud service and consulting provider for midsize and large enterprises, we speak cloud fluently: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS – you name it. We are currently expanding our project team and looking for several Junior QA Managers to support an international enterprise project for a leading client.

• Experience in software testing, test coordination, QA or IT project environments
• Practical understanding of the software testing lifecycle
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies, test levels and test types
• Practical knowledge of functional, integration, system, regression and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Understanding of testing approaches used in Agile / Scrum, Waterfall and hybrid project environments
• Familiarity with risk-based testing and requirements-based testing
• Experience with test planning, test execution and defect management
• Understanding of requirements traceability and test documentation
• Experience working with multiple project stakeholders
• Strong organisational and coordination skills
• Structured, proactive and quality-focused working style
• Good communication skills
• English at B2 level or above

Nice to have:

• Experience with major enterprise platforms such as SAP, ServiceNow or comparable systems
• Experience in international IT projects
• Experience in transformation, migration or implementation projects
• Experience in regulated or quality-critical IT environments
• Experience with Test Management or ALM tools such as Jira, Xray, Azure DevOps, HP ALM or similar
• ISTQB Foundation or another relevant testing certification

• Support the preparation and coordination of software test plans, test schedules and testing activities
• Coordinate test execution, test sessions, resources, systems and test environments
• Support the preparation and maintenance of test specifications and test cases
• Maintain and update the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
• Monitor defined test entry and exit criteria
• Coordinate testers and support them throughout test execution
• Track defects from identification and documentation through resolution and verification
• Monitor test progress, open issues, risks and dependencies
• Prepare regular test status updates and support project reporting
• Support the preparation of Test Summary Reports, RTM and Validation Reports
• Ensure test documentation is complete, structured and up to date
• Support PMO activities including tracking of actions, risks, issues and dependencies
• Coordinate testing activities across different software platforms and IT systems
• Cooperate with project managers, technical teams, business stakeholders and external partners
