Firma i stanowisko

The role is within a project building a cloud-native data lakehouse platform for a global financial services company. The platform is based on AWS, Kubernetes, Apache Flink, Spark, Airflow, JupyterHub, and Apache Iceberg, focusing on deploying and adapting the solution to the client's AWS environment integrating with IaC standards, CI/CD pipelines, identity management, networking, and security.

Wymagania

6+ years of experience in DevOps/Platform Engineering with hands-on experience as Tech Lead or Team Lead.
Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS services (EKS, networking, IAM/IRSA, S3, KMS) in production.
Strong experience with Terraform and/or AWS CDK, Helm, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
Knowledge of cloud security and observability practices.
Experience with data-intensive platforms and technologies including Kafka, Spark, Flink, Airflow, Iceberg.
Excellent communication skills for direct client engagement and coordinating delivery.

Nice to have:

Experience with Airflow, Flink, Spark, Iceberg, ArgoCD, Bash scripting, and Helm.

Obowiązki

Leading the deployment of the platform into the client's AWS non-production environment and coordinating with their infrastructure, security, and identity teams.
Building and maintaining Jenkins pipelines for build, image publishing, and deployment, including dependency ordering and database migrations.
Integrating platform services (Polaris, Airflow, JupyterHub, Grafana) with the client's corporate OIDC identity provider and mapping directory groups to roles.
Configuring networking, TLS certificates, workload identities (IRSA), secrets management, and KMS encryption.
Operating and tuning Flink, Spark, and Airflow workloads on Kubernetes and supporting data ingestion from Kafka into Iceberg.
Setting up and maintaining observability tools including Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana dashboards, Loki logs, and alert routing via Alertmanager.
Preparing technical designs, deployment documentation, validation evidence, and presenting progress to client stakeholders.
Planning and prioritising the team's technical work, reviewing code, and mentoring engineers.
