DevOps Engineer

DCG is hiring a DevOps Engineer to work on maintaining and developing continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines and related tooling across multiple environments from development to production. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring operational health and security of deployment processes, and knowledge sharing within the team. The company operates within DevOps domain and supports international teams.

• Very good knowledge of CI/CD platforms: Bamboo, Jenkins, Tekton, GitHub Actions or similar
• Very good knowledge of version control tools: Bitbucket, Git or similar
• Very good knowledge of build tools: Maven
• Good knowledge of GitOps and deployment automation tools: ArgoCD
• Good knowledge of Internal Developer Platforms: Backstage
• Good knowledge of artifact repositories: Artifactory or similar
• Good knowledge of scripting languages (at least one): Bash, PowerShell, Python
• Experience working with Linux OS
• Experience with DB SQL operations (Oracle preferred)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (MKE, GKE, vCluster)
• Experience with collaboration tools: MS Teams, Jira, Confluence
• Fluent spoken and written English skills
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
• Experience with automation and scripting
• Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills

• Ensure that all existing pipelines are working as smoothly as possible every day
• Design and implement automated build and deployment pipelines through all the environments from DEV to PROD, and related tooling and practices
• Design and implement visualization of system health and operational status of different builds and deployments
• Participate in internal team status calls, planning events, and knowledge sharing sessions
• Participate in final dress rehearsals, release go live events, and migration events in Production after business hours or during weekends
• Co-operate with other experts and managers in own and other teams when troubleshooting issues or planning new improvements
• Ensure security and compliance in the CI/CD process
• Document processes and provide training to team members
