Architect Senior Manager with French and English

• Minimum 8 years in business analysis or functional architecture, with at least 4 years on systems integration programs in consulting or delivery.
• Deep understanding of retail and commercial banking operations including KYC/AML, client lifecycle, estates and inheritance handling.
• Proven track record delivering BRDs, functional specs, and process designs on fixed-milestone SI engagements.
• Experience with stage-gate delivery models and freeze protocols.
• Experience in dual-shore delivery models, translating business context into unambiguous specs for distributed teams.
• Strong stakeholder management navigating client functional leads, offshore delivery, and executive sponsors.
• Fluent in English and French with minimum C1 level in both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25-30%.

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with ServiceNow platform (FSO, CSM, or workflow-based implementations) in banking.
• Exposure to regulatory-driven workstreams such as KYC/AML, GDPR, MiFID in Belgian or broader EU banking.
• Experience with AI-assisted delivery models accelerating requirements, design, or test generation.
• Architecture certification (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate) or equivalent applied experience.

• Lead business requirements gathering and authoring BRDs across assigned workstreams (KYC, Estates, CEP).
• Define and own functional labels and process-to-solution traceability; produce functional design specifications for AI-assisted development.
• Hold and enforce BA scope boundaries and coordinate with technical architects on To-Be design.
• Run structured workshops and discovery sessions in English with client business stakeholders; translate outputs from French and/or Dutch to English if fluent.
• Participate in stage-gate reviews, CAB governance, and quality checkpoints; provide functional sign-off at each gate.
• Identify scope gaps, assumption risks, and dependency conflicts; escalate appropriately.
• Support test strategy and UAT execution, including reviewing test cases and coordinating client SME involvement.
• Contribute to program-level architecture decisions regarding integration data flows, platform constraints, and cross-workstream consistency.
