Business Data Analyst (Spark)

Ework Group is recruiting for a Business Data Analyst to join a large Nordic bank working on Data Products.

• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience with Spark SQL and Hive
• English language proficiency at C1 level
• Experience in data analysis, data hygiene, and data quality
• Experience working with complex requirements
• Ability to take ownership and work independently on tasks, features, and user stories
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills with experience working with business users
• Familiarity with basic concepts of machine learning, CI/CD pipelines, and big data (advanced knowledge of machine learning algorithms is not required)

Nice to have:

• Banking knowledge and experience

• Act as a link between business stakeholders and developers to ensure delivery of high-quality IT solutions
• Contribute to building common capabilities for Data Products
• Work with Data Products to help design advanced solutions around data and analytics
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the bank to understand expected outcomes and elicit business features
• Manage delivery dependencies with other teams and organizational units across the bank
• Work in an agile environment as part of a cross-functional agile delivery team
