Scrum Master

• Experience as a Scrum Master supporting Agile delivery of digital products, platforms, or technology solutions.
• Understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Agile product operating models.
• Ability to manage delivery risks, dependencies, impediments, and stakeholder expectations.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, influencing, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
• Experience using metrics and data to improve predictability, flow, and outcomes.
• Ability to operate in global, matrixed, and cross-functional Digital & Technology environments.

Preferred:

• Experience in Digital or Technology organizations.
• Experience with R&D teams or supporting R&D technology solutions.
• Exposure to portfolio planning, delivery governance, and value-based prioritization.
• Agile certifications such as PSM, CSM, SAFe, ICAgile, Scrum@Scale or equivalent.
• Experience contributing to Agile communities of practice or Scrum Master capability development.
• Experience supporting Commercial, CRM, Salesforce, or customer engagement platforms.

1. Product & programme delivery leadership:

• Lead delivery of complex digital products, platforms, programmes, and transformation initiatives.
• Drive delivery against business outcomes, product roadmaps, milestones, and investment objectives.
• Ensure delivery plans align with priorities, capacity, and constraints.
• Coordinate delivery across squads, workstreams, and enabling functions.
• Support planning cycles including Quarterly Planning and PI Planning.
• Maintain clear delivery governance and transparency.

2. Agile delivery execution & team enablement:

• Enable effective use of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean practices.
• Facilitate planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and daily alignment.
• Support Product Owners and Managers with backlog readiness and prioritization.
• Coach teams towards ownership, accountability, and delivery discipline.
• Promote balance of speed, quality, sustainability, resilience, and business value.
• Create inclusive team environment supporting collaboration and sustainable pace.

3. Flow, dependency and impediment management:

• Identify and remove impediments affecting delivery progress and flow.
• Manage cross-team, Tribe, and Pillar dependencies proactively.
• Address bottlenecks, handoffs, capacity constraints, and decision delays.
• Escalate risks and blockers early with clear options.
• Help reduce work in progress focusing on high-value outcomes.

4. Stakeholder alignment & value delivery:

• Partner with stakeholders to align delivery with strategic objectives.
• Communicate delivery status focused on outcomes.
• Promote transparency about progress, risks, dependencies, decisions.
• Challenge plans or priorities reducing delivery effectiveness.
• Help teams understand expected customer and business outcomes.
• Support value optimisation linking delivery execution to business priorities.

5. Metrics, insights & delivery performance:

• Use delivery metrics to improve learning, predictability, and decision-making.
• Track sprint achievement, throughput, lead time, flow efficiency, quality, and outcomes.
• Identify patterns and improvement opportunities from delivery data.
• Ensure metrics support learning and improvement, not compliance.
• Develop dashboards and delivery insights for teams and leadership.
• Drive improvement based on evidence and inspection of outcomes.

6. Continuous improvement & agile transformation:

• Champion continuous improvement and pragmatic Agile practices.
• Support Agile maturity and evolution of planning and feedback loops.
• Contribute to Agile transformation by applying Agile principles.
• Encourage experimentation, inspection, and adaptation.
• Help teams shift from activity-based to outcome-based delivery.

7. Coaching, capability development & community contribution:

• Coach Scrum teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile behaviours.
• Contribute to Scrum Master and Agile communities of practice.
• Support onboarding into Haleon's Agile ways and product-centric model.
• Build team capability to own Agile ways independent of Scrum Master.
