Senior Software Engineer (Senior ServiceNow Developer)

The Polish branch, as the Global Delivery Center, operates in Katowice since 2007 and has around 1,000 specialists. The company’s departments specialize in areas such as cloud, operating systems, virtualization, databases, backup, networking, security, software development, data engineering, testing services, CRM, ITSM and ERP platform integrations, as well as application management for customers in Scandinavia, Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland and the UK.

• Solid hands-on ServiceNow development experience, ideally 4–5 years.
• Good knowledge of ITSM and the ServiceNow platform.
• Practical experience with CMDB, CI classes, relationships, and data imports.
• Experience with REST integrations, IntegrationHub, Import Sets/Transform Maps, and scripting.
• Proficient scripting skills: Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, GlideRecord, Flow Designer.
• Understanding of data modelling and translating requirements into ServiceNow configurations.
• Ability to analyse existing solutions, troubleshoot issues, and implement moderate-complexity changes.
• Experience with upgrades, maintenance, and evolution of ServiceNow ITSM processes.
• Advantageous (not required): experience with Discovery, IRE, CSDM, Service Graph Connectors, Security Operations, or instance consolidation.

• Participate in ServiceNow implementation, enhancement, and optimization projects.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
• Design, configure, and develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform within the ITSM module.
• Develop and maintain workflows, integrations, catalog items, business rules, script includes, and other custom components.
• Implement new functionalities and enhancements according to business and technical requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
• Review, optimize, and refactor custom code to ensure performance, maintainability, and compliance with ServiceNow best practices.
• Support platform upgrades, patches, and releases, including testing and validation.
• Monitor and maintain integrations and APIs to ensure reliable platform operations.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, consultants, and Agile teams.
• Recommend and implement continuous improvements to platform functionality and user experience.
