Business Data Analyst

AVENGA is recruiting a Business Data Analyst to work on Data Products, collaborating closely with stakeholders across a bank to design advanced data and analytics solutions.

• Experience with SQL, Spark SQL, and Hive
• Experience in data analysis, data hygiene, and data quality
• Experience working with complex requirements
• Ownership and independence in managing tasks, features, and user stories
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and experience working with business users
• Familiarity with basic concepts of machine learning, CI/CD pipelines, and big data (advanced knowledge of machine learning algorithms is not required)

• Act as a link between business stakeholders and developers to ensure delivery of high-quality IT solutions
• Contribute to building common capabilities for Data Products
• Work with Data Products to help design advanced data and analytics solutions
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the bank to understand expected outcomes and elicit business features
• Manage delivery dependencies with other teams and organisational units across the bank
• Work in an agile environment as part of a cross-functional agile delivery team
