Tech lead (PHP+React)

SINGU is one of the fastest-growing PropTech companies in Europe. Their platform manages over 200 million sqm of commercial real estate for 500+ clients in 35 countries, helping property managers digitalize and automate operations from maintenance and inspections to portfolio management. The TAM (Technical Account Management) area delivers customizations, dedicated functionality, and system integrations for SINGU's largest enterprise clients, including logistics and commercial real estate leaders such as Prologis, P3, CTP, and AmRest. A new TAM team is being established to tailor the SINGU platform for a strategic enterprise client, handling the full lifecycle from discovery to continuous improvement.

• Fluent communication in English (C1) and Polish (C1), able to independently run workshops, discovery calls, and status meetings
• Ability to translate business requests into clear technical scopes and explain trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience writing specifications, solution designs, and estimates that clients approve
• 1+ year as a Tech Lead or equivalent leading a product/delivery team of 3+ engineers
• Ownership of architecture and technical decisions accountable in production
• Ability to decompose epics into estimable tasks before coding starts
• Manage planning, estimation, and protect the team from context switching
• Raise technical standards through code reviews, mentoring, onboarding, and engineering practices
• 5+ years commercial experience with PHP (7.4+/8) at scale writing clean, testable, and maintainable code
• Production experience with React (TypeScript preferred)
• Strong PostgreSQL skills including schema design, performant queries, migrations, and execution plans
• Experience designing and owning REST APIs and integrations with external systems (imports, exports, SSO)
• Security-by-default mindset including input validation, access control, and data protection
• Active use of AI tools in the workflow, able to guide the team in using them

Nice to have:

• Enterprise/customization-heavy B2B SaaS background (multi-tenant, per-client variants)
• Experience with ERP or enterprise integrations (SAP, Dynamics, PeopleSoft), SFTP/CSV/API imports
• Experience with the Phalcon framework
• Knowledge of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
• Awareness of mobile development with Flutter
• Improving developer experience: local environments, test automation, CI speed

• Own the technical direction of the new TAM team, including architecture, code quality, and delivery
• Establish the team's ways of working: delivery process, Definition of Ready/Done, code review standards, and technical onboarding aligned with SINGU engineering practices
• Act as the primary technical contact for the client, conducting requirement workshops, solution design, estimates, technical status updates, and escalations (in English)
• Translate client needs into clear specifications and tasks; own the final technical specification
• Manage sprint planning, estimation, and prioritization, balancing committed scope with ad-hoc client requests alongside account managers
• Make architectural decisions for customizations to avoid fragmenting the core product; align with Platform/Core teams and the Chief Architect
• Review code, mentor engineers, and run technical onboarding for newcomers
• Drive engineering improvements: testability, local environments, automated tests, and CI
• Spend roughly 40–60% of time hands-on building and reviewing production code
• Note: This is a technical leadership, not a people-management role; performance reviews and hiring remain with the Engineering Manager
