Developer - Azure Data Transformation

Our client is an established technology organisation delivering complex data transformation projects across the financial services and technology sectors. They specialise in cloud-based solutions, working with Azure and Fabric platforms to modernise legacy applications and implement strategic data models.

• 8-10 years' experience in software development
• Strong Python programming skills
• Proven experience with PySpark services
• DevOps experience within Azure environments
• Knowledge of AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)
• Experience with Azure SQL or PostgreSQL databases
• Understanding of OneLake Delta DB
• Familiarity with DBOR data flows and processing schemas
• Experience working with strategic data models (SDM)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with architects and development teams
• Strong analytical skills for assessing application complexity

Nice to have:

• Experience with CosmosDB
• Experience with NoSQL variants
• Experience with Data Flow Gen 2
• Experience with Postgres variants

• Lead application transformation strategy on Azure/Fabric platform
• Assess current applications and collaborate with architects on transformation strategy
• Determine application complexity and estimate effort required
• Design technical solutions based on requirements and target architecture
• Plan and prioritise development backlogs for transformation activities
• Guide development teams through application transition phases
• Support customer UAT activities and testing processes
• Work with DBOR data flows and processing schemas
• Implement solutions using Azure/Fabric and PySpark services

Contract opportunity based in Gdynia/Krakow On-site position 6 months contract
