Senior Product Manager - Payments Platform

Payward, the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks, has built a modern, globally accessible financial infrastructure platform to advance an open global financial system. Payward Services is an enterprise infrastructure platform enabling seamless integration of trading, payments, funding, and digital asset services for fintechs, banks, brokerages, and payment providers. The Payments & Blockchain team manages payments and banking partner integrations powering deposits and withdrawals for millions of users.

• 5+ years product management experience, ideally in platform, API, or infrastructure roles serving internal teams or developers
• Working knowledge of payments including pay-ins/pay-outs, PSPs, acquirers, bank rails (ACH, SEPA, Faster Payments, SWIFT, local methods), and money flow
• Strong technical fluency including ability to read RFCs, challenge architecture, and write API specs
• Experience shipping developer-facing products such as APIs, SDKs, embeddable UI components
• Clear and structured writing skills for documentation for product, compliance, and business stakeholders
• Skill managing diverse stakeholders and building alignment without direct authority
• Comfort using data to set goals, measure platform adoption, and performance

• Own the product vision and roadmap for the Payward payments platform including backend and integration surfaces
• Map requirements from internal clients to evolve platform capabilities for diverse use cases
• Partner with engineering to develop a sequenced, high-impact roadmap with clear milestones
• Prioritize competing client needs with transparent trade-offs and rationale
• Shape end-to-end client experience from onboarding to go-live to facilitate adoption
• Collaborate with banking and partnerships teams to build reusable PSP or bank integrations
• Incorporate compliance, risk, and legal requirements early in the roadmap to avoid launch blockers
• Set and track platform success metrics like time to launch rails, client go-live duration, rail availability share, and payment success rates
