Principal Software Engineer (AI Platform)

Acaisoft collaborates with a UK BioPharma client to deliver powerful cloud software and services aimed at improving patient lives by leveraging AI and ML technologies in the BioPharma sector.

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software engineering, with roles including Tech Lead, Principal Engineer, or Solutions Architect
• Practice with distributed systems design and cloud architecture, specifically Kubernetes
• Hands-on expertise with Java and Spring Boot in high-throughput environments
• Deep knowledge of AI Agents, LLM integrations, and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Advanced background in modern identity and security frameworks, including OAuth 2.1, OpenID Connect, PKCE, and Auth0

• Owning the overall architecture, system scalability, and long-term technical direction
• Defining MCP (Model Context Protocol) implementation standards across teams and services
• Driving security and authentication design for enterprise-grade AI integrations
• Leading technical decision-making, architectural discussions, and high-impact code reviews

Due to the client's location, meetings sometimes take place until 6:00 PM CEST. Meetings after 5 PM CEST are usually planned in advance.
