Technical Lead

LARA (Laboratory Animal Research Application) is a global SaaS solution supporting laboratory animal management for research across Denmark, China, and the USA. The platform integrates several key components including a third-party SaaS solution Climb, internal Cloud Services integration layer, and the Study Animal Data Platform (SADP) for downstream systems.

• Strong experience in solution architecture, requirements analysis, and technical solution design.
• Proven experience integrating SaaS platforms with enterprise systems.
• Strong knowledge and experience designing cloud solutions using AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Python programming.
• Strong database and data engineering skills, especially with PostgreSQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with messaging queues, data flows, and system integrations.
• Understanding of secure and compliant architecture in regulated environments.
• Experience with GitHub and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate complex requirements into practical technical solutions.

• Develop strong technical understanding of the SaaS platform and its integration points.
• Lead the design of secure, compliant, and reliable integrations between Climb, Cloud Services, SADP, and other internal systems.
• Define and coordinate data flows related to laboratory processes and equipment.
• Analyse and coordinate data migration from legacy solutions to the new platform.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams and collaborate with Product Owner and Scrum Master.
• Stay hands-on with Python development and database-related work, specifically PostgreSQL and PL/SQL.
• Design and validate integrations based on messaging queues and data architecture patterns.
• Participate in PoCs, troubleshooting, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Use GitHub and Agile practices to support software delivery.
