Software Developer - Cloud Native / Java

Reply specialises in designing and implementing solutions based on new communication channels and digital media. • Successfully completed studies in (business) computer science, mathematics, physics or a similar qualification
• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Java developer
• Experience with development environments and tools such as Maven, Git/Subversion, and Jenkins
• Familiarity with concepts including DevOps, continuous delivery, clean code, TDD, and agile methodologies
• Analytical and solution-oriented thinking with strong leadership qualities
• Experience with technologies and platforms: Java, Microprofile, Docker, Kubernetes, Postgresql, Kafka, Jmeter, REST services, Quarkus, AWS (EKS, RDS, MSK, Redis, EC2, Secret Manager)
• Comfortable working on Linux distributions
• Fluent Polish and very good communication English skills; German is a plus but not mandatory

• Develop backend Java microservices using technologies such as J2E, Microprofile, and Quarkus
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to design and implement new features
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of development standards
• Create technical concepts and documentation
• Use tools such as Jira and Confluence for project and knowledge management

Remote work allowed after initial office presence of 2 weeks daily and subsequently 1-2 days per week or as required for project reasons (or internal events).
