Lead DevOps Engineer

Creotech is building a DevSecOps team focused on mission-critical space systems, combining DevSecOps, security, and AI expertise to deliver and stabilize technical platforms for the organization.

• At least 5 years of professional experience running production infrastructure, combining software engineering and operations.
• Experience building platform capability from scratch and managing load scaling.
• Hands-on ownership of a self-hosted CI/CD platform with version upgrades and runner/agent operations.
• Hands-on experience with a self-hosted observability stack and real alerting practices.
• Infrastructure as code mindset with production declarative provisioning and configuration management.
• Strong Linux systems engineering skills: networking, storage, systemd, TLS, PKI, performance, and failure diagnosis.
• Kubernetes production experience, ideally on bare metal or on-prem clusters.
• Solid programming skills in at least one language such as Python, Go, Java, C#, or C++.

Nice to have:

• Experience with hypervisor or virtualization platform automation.
• Secrets management and large-scale PKI.
• Identity and access management systems.
• Experience in regulated, air-gapped, or high-assurance environments.

• Own and operate the CI/CD platform and its build fleet, including capacity, reliability, autoscaling, and upgrade cycles.
• Run the observability platform end to end: metrics, logs, traces, alert routing, and escalation for internal services.
• Automate provisioning and host configuration with infrastructure managed as code.
• Maintain the artifact and registry layer, including caching, retention, and distribution policies.
• Own backup, restore, and disaster recovery for platform services with verified operation.
• Operate production Kubernetes clusters on premises.
• Improve platform usability by reducing toil, shortening feedback loops, and enhancing the paved road experience.
