Test Automation / CI Engineer

CodiLime is a software and network engineering industry expert and the first-choice service partner for top global networking hardware providers, software providers, and telecoms. The company has over 250 employees and has been operating since 2011. Its clients include tech startups and large players worldwide (US, Japan, Israel, Europe).

• Strong hands-on expertise in Python test automation with pytest, PTF (Packet Test Framework), sonic-mgmt, and Ansible
• Solid background in CI/CD engineering and automated test orchestration
• Strong networking knowledge focused on routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, routing tables, VRFs, Layer 3 concepts
• Understanding of router concepts including overlay architecture, policies, and IPsec tunnels; hands-on router experience preferred
• Proven debugging and troubleshooting skills including log reading and CLI-level investigation
• Experience working closely with software development teams and translating features into test scenarios
• Experience using AI tools in everyday engineering work
• Experience with Docker
• Good Linux command-line skills including shell scripting
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD platforms
• Good knowledge of English (B2+ level)

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with Golang, C, C++, and Groovy
• Experience with SD-WAN and router solutions
• Familiarity with Jenkins and GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with physical or virtual network testbeds and virtual routers
• Experience with formal defect tracking systems
• Experience with traffic generators

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD test automation pipelines and test suites in Python for pre-commit pull request testing and weekly regression runs
• Automate environment provisioning, traffic generation, network diagnostics, and continuous regression testing across virtual and physical testbeds
• Debug failed runs by analyzing device, system, and test logs, distinguishing product bugs from test-suite or environment issues, and raising well-documented defects
• Collaborate with development teams to understand delivered features and design test coverage
• Extend test automation as new features are delivered in the Routing area
• Use AI tools (AI-assisted root cause analysis, LLM coding assistants) to accelerate scripting, log analysis, and root cause identification
• Coordinate issue resolution with suite owners and development/test engineers through dedicated collaboration channels
• Manage physical and virtual testbed environments and resource provisioning for test execution
• Identify, analyze, and resolve flaky tests to maintain high pipeline reliability
