Java Developer

IT Factory is a dynamic company experienced in development, implementation, and support of IT solutions for a significant Polish company in the insurance and financial sector.

• Minimum 5 years experience with Java
• Minimum 3 years experience with Apache Kafka
• Minimum 5 years experience with Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud
• Minimum 5 years experience with SQL
• Knowledge of unit test frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Spock) and integration frameworks (Testcontainers, WireMock)
• Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and functional programming (FP) paradigms
• Knowledge of application containerization
• Knowledge of process engines and BPMN notation
• Understanding of resilience patterns in distributed systems
• Knowledge of Angular and experience in frontend application development
• Ability to use AI tools in software development process
• Knowledge of application performance diagnostic tools
• Service provision from Poland territory
• Willingness to work from the office in Warsaw at least 1 day per week

Nice to have:

• Knowledge and practical experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Experience with AI agents and Agentic AI tools in software development
• Experience with cloud solutions

• Build and develop microservice architecture systems supporting claims reporting and handling processes
• Design, implement, and maintain APIs and system integrations
• Participate in system design and implementation of functional and non-functional requirements
• Improve business processes by delivering efficient and scalable IT solutions
• Develop automated tests, apply engineering best practices, and maintain code quality
• Actively use AI tools and Agentic AI approaches in requirements analysis, implementation, testing, and maintenance
• Perform and participate in code reviews using modern tools supporting code quality and security
• Participate in scrum events and collaborate in a multidisciplinary agile team
• Co-create software development and AI usage standards
• Work on systems with large scale and high transaction volume

Service provision with territory restriction: must be from Poland. Minimum one day per week work at Warsaw office required.
