AI Scientist / Principal AI Engineer – Drug Discovery & Life Sciences

Holisticon Connect is a division within NEXER GROUP, a custom software development company established in Poland in 2017 with a team of over 140 people. The company collaborates with world-renowned brands from Scandinavia, the UK, and Western Europe.

• Strong experience building and shipping end-to-end AI/ML solutions in real-world environments.
• Hands-on background in agentic AI systems and autonomous or semi-autonomous workflows.
• Deep understanding of Graph Machine Learning (GNNs, knowledge graphs, network-based models).
• Experience applying AI in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or Drug Discovery.
• Proven ability to build and deploy production-grade AI tools, agents, dashboards, or internal platforms.
• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with modern ML/AI ecosystems.
• Comfortable working in scientific, research-driven, or R&D-heavy environments.

Nice to have:

• Experience with molecular foundation models or protein language models.
• Experience with LLM-based scientific agents.
• Scientific publications in AI, computational biology, bioinformatics, or drug discovery.
• Experience working with biologics or molecular simulations.
• Familiarity with cloud/MLOps environments.

• Design and deliver AI solutions for Life Sciences and Pharma.
• Contribute to AI-driven drug discovery and early drug development.
• Build and deploy production-ready AI systems, agents, and scientific workflows.
• Apply Graph ML, knowledge graphs, and network biology approaches to biomedical problems.
• Develop AI solutions for molecular modelling, biologics, and small molecule discovery.
• Collaborate closely with scientific and research teams.
• Translate research concepts into scalable, production-oriented AI solutions.
• Take full ownership of delivery with minimal supervision.
