Lead Automation Tester

SimCorp is a global FinTech company and a provider of integrated investment management solutions with over 4,000 employees worldwide. It is an independent subsidiary of the Deutsche Börse Group. The role is part of the Testing Services Delivery Unit in Warsaw, delivering high-quality testing services embedded in Configuration and Upgrade projects within Global Managed Services.

• Over 5 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Practical programming experience primarily in C# or strong technical savvy.
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, and/or PowerShell.
• Strong knowledge of UI and Web API test automation frameworks.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and Insomnia.
• Experience with version control workflows using Git, including branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Understanding of BDD principles with ability to write and maintain test scenarios using Gherkin and SpecFlow/Reqnroll.
• Hands-on experience using regular expressions (Regex) for test validation and log analysis.
• Practical knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complexity into clear direction.
• Excellent communication and consulting presence.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Domain knowledge in investment banking and accounting is highly welcomed.
• Educational background in Computer Science, STEM, Finance, or related field.
• Fluency in English (minimum B2+ or C1).
