Software Engineer II

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• More than 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills; professional C#/.NET experience preferred.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Ember or React.
• Experience with SQL databases, including DML operations, stored procedures, and performance tuning through indexing and batching.
• Experience creating and maintaining unit tests.
• Proven ability to take full ownership of work from design through delivery.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, or messaging technologies.
• Experience working with IoT and hardware.
• Experience with observability, logging, error handling, and monitoring in production systems.
• Experience integrating AI-assisted development tools into professional engineering workflows.

• Write and maintain high-quality C#/.NET back-end code across the Video domain, including device lifecycle management and related customer-facing web UIs.
• Own features end-to-end, from design through implementation, testing, release, and production support.
• Exercise good judgment in balancing rapid development versus robust solutions.
• Participate actively in design discussions and code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across environments to identify root causes and deliver durable fixes.

AI-Fluent Engineering:

• Use AI-assisted development tools consistently in the engineering workflow.
• Rigorously validate AI-generated code for correctness, edge cases, security, and maintainability before production deployment.
