Head of Product

FinanSys is a company with over 28 years of experience, pioneering next-generation finance automation software and robotic accounting. The flagship product, UniFi, is a financial process automation platform built on .NET and React, running on AWS with PostgreSQL (Aurora) and SQL Server backend, and uses CI/CD in Azure DevOps. UniFi complements existing ERP systems by automating finance team processes beyond the ERP coverage, such as purchase-to-pay, period close, and asset management. • Deep understanding of the Office of the CFO, including finance team responsibilities and challenges
• Hands-on experience with ERP, FMS, or similar finance systems
• 8 to 12 years of product experience in B2B software
• Experience leading teams of four or more
• Technical proficiency to read API specifications, engage in architecture discussions, and challenge engineering trade-offs
• Direct customer contact experience, translating learnings into product decisions
• Fluent English (C1) and ability to work UK hours

Nice to have:

• Accounting qualification (ACCA or equivalent) or equivalent experience
• Experience building finance team solutions such as journal postings, period close, auditable workflows
• Experience leading teams through change
• Background in accounting or consulting before product roles
• Experience establishing product management functions
• Experience improving performance and reliability of established platforms

• Own the UniFi product roadmap and prioritize features
• Set the release cadence and decide the content of each release
• Be accountable for platform performance and stability to customers and CEO
• Lead, hire, and develop product, engineering, and consulting teams
• Present UniFi to prospects and customers, owning usage and expansion within the existing customer base
• Understand the Office of the CFO to clearly communicate UniFi's value to financial roles
• Track and increase applications per customer
