Incident & Change Management DevOps Engineer

emagine Polska is recruiting for a senior Incident & Change Management DevOps Engineer to support business-critical applications and services in production and pre-production environments. The role involves operational excellence, incident management, deployment activities, troubleshooting, automation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure service reliability.

• Experience in Application Production Support, DevOps, SRE, or IT Operations roles
• Proven experience managing incidents, changes, and production deployments
• Strong Linux / Unix administration skills, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• Shell scripting experience (Bash)
• Proficient with Oracle Database, SQL, SQL Developer, SQL*Plus
• Experience with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, Azure Release Management
• Knowledge of Ansible and infrastructure automation
• Experience supporting Salesforce, UC4 / Automic Workload Automation, batch processing, scheduling, and application monitoring
• Experience with CyberArk Privileged Access Management
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and SRE principles
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Autonomous and proactive mindset
• Ability to work under pressure in production environments
• Strong English communication skills (B1 level)

Incident & Problem Management:

• Manage production incidents and service disruptions, ensuring timely diagnosis, escalation, and resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to long-term corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, database, and integration issues.
• Coordinate incident resolution activities across development, infrastructure, and business teams.

Change & Release Management:

• Execute and validate application deployments in Pre-Production and Production environments.
• Review, implement, and monitor production changes according to change management procedures.
• Ensure deployment quality, rollback readiness, and post-deployment validation.
• Participate in release planning and deployment coordination.

DevOps & Automation:

• Identify repetitive operational tasks and implement automation solutions.
• Develop and maintain scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and release automation initiatives.
• Support infrastructure-as-code and configuration management practices.

Production Support & Operations:

• Monitor applications, batch jobs, and business-critical processes.
• Ensure successful execution of scheduled workloads and operational processes.
• Support production environments and guarantee service continuity.
• Participate in on-call and operational support activities when required.

Documentation & Project Support:

• Produce technical documentation, including deployment guides, runbooks, troubleshooting procedures, and operational standards.
• Ensure knowledge transfer and operational readiness for new applications and services.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation.

Database & Application Support:

• Support Oracle database environments through operational SQL activities.
• Execute data validation and maintenance activities.
• Support integrations, file transfers, and business process workflows.
