QA Engineer

Link Group is the employer offering this position.

• Proven track record as a QA Tester, QA Engineer, or Test Automation Engineer in a commercial software development environment.
• Hands-on experience with at least one test automation framework and coding/scripting ability in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• Strong understanding of core QA methodologies and hands-on experience testing REST APIs using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Solid knowledge of Git and experience integrating automated test runs into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) working in cross-functional delivery teams.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English, with a structured approach to problem-solving.

Nice to have:

• Experience working with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (GCP).
• Exposure to performance, load, or security testing tools.
• Background working in regulated or highly controlled environments (e.g., Financial Services, Healthcare, Pharma).
• Hands-on experience with test management and tracking tools like Jira, Xray, or Zephyr.

• Design, execute, and maintain test scenarios covering functional, integration, system, smoke, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Build, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using modern frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Validate backend services and REST APIs using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or command-line utilities.
• Identify, log, and track software defects; clearly articulate quality risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (Scrum/SAFe), refine requirements, and advocate for quality throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Proactively suggest process enhancements, test coverage improvements, and quality standards across the team.
