Senior Cloud & Platform Engineer (Go/Java) | Poland

Deloitte is recruiting a Senior Cloud & Platform Engineer experienced in building scalable and secure enterprise-grade solutions. The role involves driving security practices throughout the software development lifecycle and working on digital transformation projects for well-known brands.

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering within enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on development experience with Go (Golang) and Java
• Good knowledge of JavaScript and/or Python
• Experience designing distributed systems, microservices, and APIs
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
• Knowledge of secure coding principles and Secure Development Lifecycle practices
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Nice to have:

• Experience with application security testing and vulnerability management
• Experience working in DevSecOps environments
• Security certifications or cloud certifications

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Go (Golang), Java, JavaScript, and Python
• Build cloud-native solutions that are secure, scalable, and reliable
• Contribute to architecture decisions, technical strategy, and code quality standards
• Evaluate and integrate modern open-source technologies
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines with built-in security controls
• Implement automation for testing, deployment, and infrastructure management
• Promote Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices
• Drive Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) adoption across projects
• Conduct threat modeling and security design reviews
• Support teams in identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities
