Junior Software Engineer (Java/DevOps)

At Motorola Solutions, the Emergency Call Handling team in Krakow develops and maintains a highly available (99.999%) mission-critical platform called VNXT Call Handling. The department uses an agile approach with strong DevOps culture and continuous delivery in a 24/7 support model.

• Practical experience of 1+ years with modern DevOps tooling including CI/CD pipelines.
• At least 1 year of experience with Java.
• Practical knowledge of microservices and REST API.
• English language skills sufficient for efficient communication with peers and customers in North America.
• Must have experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or private cloud.
• Practical knowledge of Ansible or Cloud formation or similar tools.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools.
• Understanding of HTTP / REST protocols.

Nice to have:

• Experience with RabbitMQ, AMQ, Kafka, Gstreamer.
• Networking knowledge.
• Experience with SIP, RTP, WebRTC, MSRP protocols.

• Design, implement, test, deliver, and maintain software for the VNXT Call Handling platform within an agile team.
• Contribute to building cloud-based solutions with 99.999% availability.
• Participate in continuous delivery and DevOps practices.
• Collaborate in a 24/7 support model for mission-critical systems.
