QA Automation Engineer - Python / Robot Framework

1dea is seeking a QA Automation Engineer with experience in test automation, programming in Python, and data validation using Robot Framework. This is a remote, full-time B2B outsourcing engagement with a focus on long-term collaboration.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in QA and test automation
• Experience with Robot Framework and creating custom keywords in Python
• Strong skills in data validation and testing
• Very good knowledge of Python and SQL
• Practical experience with JSON, CSV, XML, XLS/XLSX
• Knowledge of JSON Schema and data validation
• Experienced in smoke, functional, regression, and UAT testing and error analysis
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and Docker
• Experience with Jira, Xray, and Agile methodologies
• English language proficiency minimum B2 level

• Creating and developing automated tests in Robot Framework
• Developing custom libraries, parsers, and keywords in Python
• Validating data in JSON, CSV, XML, XLS/XLSX formats
• Testing correctness of mappings, schemas, formats, and data
• Executing smoke, functional, regression, and UAT tests
• Analyzing test results and performing root cause analysis of errors
• Comparing and analyzing data using SQL, DuckDB, and Parquet
• Preparing reports on tests, defects, and quality trends
• Maintaining automated tests within CI/CD environments
• Working with GitHub Actions, Docker, Artifactory, Jira, and Xray
• Collaborating with technical teams on error analysis, testing, and documentation
