Senior Test Lead (AI Governance Platform)

The AI Control Tower project is running a Proof of Concept (PoC) and subsequent rollout of an AI governance platform, evaluating Holistic AI and Airia LLC against defined functional, technical, and compliance requirements. The QA Specialist role involves owning the test strategy, execution, and defect management to ensure the platform meets required performance before and after full deployment with documented and defensible evidence.

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Over 3 years of QA or software testing experience including enterprise platform rollouts or vendor PoCs.
• Experience writing test plans and test cases from functional and technical requirements.
• Proficiency with defect/issue tracking tools, especially Jira, and Kanban methodology.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and clear written documentation.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in test planning, execution, and requirements traceability.
• Skilled in defect management and root-cause coordination with vendors.
• Effective stakeholder communication across business, procurement, and technical teams.
• Ability to produce structured, evidence-based reporting.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-moving PoC environments.

Nice to have:

• Experience with AI/ML systems, AI governance, or model-risk testing.
• Familiarity with recognized AI governance frameworks.
• Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceutical.
• Experience testing endpoint-deployed software across distributed user bases.
• Agile/Scrum or Kanban delivery experience within small, cross-functional teams.

• Translate AI Control Tower's functional and technical requirements into detailed, traceable test cases and scenarios.
• Plan, execute, and document test cycles, including installation, functional, integration, performance, and security testing.
• Validate vendor self-assessment responses against the requirements checklist and flag discrepancies.
• Support and verify endpoint installation testing across pilot user cohorts.
• Test and confirm core governance capabilities such as runtime AI governance, risk evaluation, monitoring, and observability.
• Log, prioritize, and track defects through resolution coordinating with vendor technical teams.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align on resource needs and testing dependencies after submission milestones.
• Contribute to defining the Definition of Done (DoD) and Definition of Ready (DoR) for the Kanban board.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and capture structured feedback from pilot end-users.
• Verify audit trails, logs, and compliance reporting outputs meet evidentiary and regulatory needs.
• Prepare clear QA status reports for stakeholders, procurement, and leadership.
