Senior Data Analyst

The role is part of a larger Strategic Data Platform programme focused on assessing and improving the data quality of key internal systems. The Data Quality (DQ) team uses Google Cloud Platform products such as BigQuery and Looker Studio alongside Python and GenAI for automated data quality rule prediction, anomaly detection, root cause investigation, and remediation campaigns. The position is with a leading international bank on stable, long-term projects.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a data-related role (e.g., Tech Business Analyst, Data Management/Modelling, Data Analyst)
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform products (BigQuery, Looker Studio, Cloud Storage)
• Understanding of cloud concepts and experience delivering cloud-based solutions
• Proven ability to interpret large data sets and explain complex issues concisely
• Advanced listening, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Openness to new tools and technologies
• Python experience is a plus, used in ad-hoc projects

• Collaborate with data owners, data engineers, and business users to define data quality requirements and standards
• Develop and automate data quality rules and checks using Google Cloud Platform tools
• Investigate data quality findings and plan remediation activities
• Perform ad-hoc data quality analysis and impact assessments, analyzing and interpreting trends and patterns in complex data sets
• Proactively identify and solve problems
• Drive assigned projects, facilitate discussions, and monitor progress
• Communicate data quality findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
