IT Systems Engineer

CD PROJEKT RED is a company focused on creating revolutionary, story-driven RPGs that resonate with gamers. The job location is in Warszawa, Poland, at Jagiellońska 74.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT process automation, programming, or advanced systems administration.
• Advanced knowledge of at least one scripting language such as Python or PowerShell.
• Proven experience designing, building, and deploying automation tools in production.
• Good understanding of software engineering principles, version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce), and CI/CD tools and concepts.
• Experience administering operating systems like Windows Server and Linux, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Experience with Terraform or similar tools.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus, and visualization platforms like Grafana.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to independently resolve complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Initiative, proactive approach, results orientation, and high work quality standards.
• Working proficiency in Polish and English at C1 level.

• Design, test, implement, and maintain advanced scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) and applications that automate administrative and operational IT tasks.
• Analyze automation areas and lead projects to improve team velocity and optimize existing tools.
• Develop, integrate, and manage tools for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), proactive monitoring, and support CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with the Systems Engineering team and share knowledge on automation strategies and tools.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for automation tools and processes.
• Work closely with the ITSECOPS department and other teams to gather requirements and implement automation solutions.
• Continuously improve processes and tools by exploring new technologies and adopting industry best practices in IT automation.

The position requires work in-office or hybrid in Warsaw, Poland. Remote work is possible only from within Poland for selected candidates. Relocation to Poland is required for candidates residing abroad.
