Senior Application Manager – SAP Product Compliance

Upvanta is recruiting for a Senior Application Manager with practical experience in SAP Product Compliance, SAP EHS, and related HSE/HESQ processes. The role focuses on functional application management and supporting SAP delivery and application management activities, including cooperation with business and external SAP suppliers.

• Several years of experience working with SAP as a Functional Analyst, Application Manager, or similar functional role
• Practical knowledge of SAP Product Compliance, SAP EHS or related HSE/HESQ processes
• Experience in SAP Application Management, BAU, and Application Support
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into functional SAP requirements
• Experience coordinating changes, integrations, tests, and business validation
• Experience working with external SAP suppliers
• Ability to verify and challenge the quality of suppliers’ work
• Knowledge of incident, change, and release management processes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Independence and responsibility for the assigned area
• Fluent English

• Serving as a functional expert and liaison between business, SAP teams, and IT
• Ownership of ongoing application management and BAU in the SAP Product Compliance area
• Analyzing business needs and translating them into functional SAP requirements
• Supporting projects and integrations related to Product Compliance
• Participating in design, testing, and validation of solutions
• Developing and improving a custom SAP Fiori application supporting compliance
• Coordinating work with external SAP providers, including task delegation, follow-up, and quality verification
• Supporting incident handling, service requests, and changes as a senior functional escalation point
• Planning and implementing changes within BAU releases and projects
• Collaborating with applications linked to Product Compliance (e.g., EcoPortal, Sphera, OCC)
• Coordinating maintenance, upgrades, patching, and security vulnerability activities
• Working with business on process standardization, solution adoption, and continuous improvement
• Supporting initiatives related to SAP S/4HANA conversion
• Assisting change management and business users when needed
