Senior Python Engineer

You'll be part of a Wrocław-based team at a leading global financial institution, delivering a new in-house communications surveillance platform from scratch. The platform processes unstructured data, runs model-driven alerting, and provides a review interface for analysts within small, self-organising agile pods.

• 6+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree
• Strong Python skills and solid relational database knowledge, ideally PostgreSQL
• Hands-on DevOps and CI/CD experience, ideally with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Azure, including Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus or similar platforms
• Expertise in data-flow engineering across ingestion, transformation, and orchestration; experience with Azure Data Factory or similar
• Drive to solve complex problems and deliver maintainable, production-grade code
• Good English for daily collaboration

Nice to have:

• In-depth AI-assisted development skills: GitHub Copilot, agents, reusable skills, and effective prompting
• Experience with Azure AI Search or other full-text search implementations
• Experience with React for web UI development

• Build cloud-native solutions on Azure for greenfield projects and existing applications
• Make smart technical choices by adopting new technologies and reusing strategic platforms
• Ship secure, reliable, and compliant software meeting functional and non-functional requirements
• Engineer with AI using GitHub Copilot, agents, and reusable skills with quality and security oversight
• Lead by example by introducing new engineering practices and growing team capabilities
• Participate in community activities such as knowledge sharing, hiring, and shaping engineering culture
