Experienced SME .NET Developer (Capital Markets - Risk)

The role is within an international team focusing on applications in the Capital Markets and Risk domain, specifically supporting risk analysis and reporting. The project is an IT services long-term engagement based in Poznań and Wrocław, Poland, with a hybrid work model.

• 5–8 years of professional experience in software development
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET, including .NET Core
• Solid experience with SQL and Oracle databases
• Practical experience with Oracle PL/SQL, including stored procedures, functions, and packages
• Proven experience working in the Capital Markets domain
• Direct experience in the Risk domain with understanding of Credit Risk, Market Risk, or Operational Risk
• Knowledge of financial products such as bonds, repos, derivatives, and Treasury products
• Understanding of Counterparty Credit Risk Management (CCM Risk)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including troubleshooting complex technical issues
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively in an international team environment

Nice to have:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test automation
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or OCI

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications using C# and .NET
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers in Oracle databases
• Enhance risk management systems focusing on Credit Risk, Counterparty Credit Risk Management, and Treasury risk
• Implement business logic related to capital market products including bonds, repos, and derivatives
• Collaborate with risk managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Troubleshoot existing applications and provide timely technical support
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in application code and database queries
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to development best practices
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design documents, and support guides
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and project managers within an Agile team environment
