AI Specialist to Service Fulfilment & Operations

Nordea is a large Nordic bank undergoing technology and data estate modernization as part of its 2030 strategic direction. The role is within the Group Technology department, specifically the SRE Operation team responsible for automated build, integration, and transitioning from legacy IT to industry-standard DevOps toolchain using AI.

• Minimum 3 years experience in IT operations or infrastructure building and monitoring
• Proficiency in DevOps operating model including support, maintenance, deployment, and administrative tasks
• Experience and knowledge of Google Cloud Operation, AWS, and AZURE operations
• Ability to interpret and troubleshoot application issues using log messages
• Practical knowledge of Linux/Unix
• General understanding of CI/CD, docker, Kubernetes, ansible, and Git repository management
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Demonstrated hands-on lead and delivery capabilities
• Genuine interest and knowledge in AI platforms, generative AI, and agentic workflows

Nice to have:

• Experience working with AI and creating AI workflows
• Ability to work in 24/7 environment including on-call duties
• Skills in incident resolution, root cause analysis, change request deployment
• Experience releasing new applications to customer platforms

• Maintain and deliver 24/7 support for cloud and business-critical applications including on-call duties
• Manage observability and operations including Cloud Logging, Monitoring, alerting, SLOs, incident response, and cost controls, with emphasis on Google Cloud
• Participate in implementation of new environments and tools, including Agentic AI, prompt engineering, RAG, agents, and AI workflows
• Understand technical processes to provide relevant advice and support
• Support users of environments and tools for effective usage
• Implement and maintain development, test, and production platforms for stable, high-performance solutions
• Make technical decisions based on platform and software analysis

Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) mindset:

• Build reliability into services proactively
• Use monitoring, SLOs, and operational data for system performance
• Automate repetitive work and reduce manual effort
• Design safe failure, quick recovery, and manageable production systems
• Learn from incidents via root-cause analysis and blameless reviews
• Balance delivery speed with stability, security, and risk management
