Senior Cybersecurity Specialist — Security Remediation & Vulnerability Management

• Minimum 3 years practical experience in cybersecurity, especially in security findings assessment and remediation management.
• Expert knowledge of vulnerability and risk assessment frameworks, risk evaluation methodologies, and governance processes.
• Good understanding of modern threats related to AI and their security impact.
• Practical knowledge of Problem Management, Secure DevOps, DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act), OWASP, and secure software development best practices.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex vulnerability remediation problems.
• Ability to interpret results using exploratory data analysis and statistical modeling methods.
• Good understanding of risk-based approaches and risk management principles.
• Experience collaborating between teams and organizational units, negotiating remediation actions and priorities.
• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for stakeholders on remediation progress, risks, and strategic recommendations.
• Fluent business and technical English in spoken and written form.
• Experience automating processes preferably with Python, Apache Airflow, and Microsoft Power Automate.
• Practical use of AI technologies in governance and automation workflows.
• Mentoring skills and ability to share cybersecurity knowledge within the team.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model with 3 days per week presence in office locations (Tricity, Warsaw, or Łódź).

• Manage vulnerability remediation by identifying process gaps and leading risk-reducing actions.
• Analyze complex security scan results and translate findings into corrective actions.
• Assess and prioritize risks, recommend action sequences, and support remediation deadlines.
• Advise on security strategies according to best practices, security standards, and banking regulations.
• Coordinate with system owners, technical teams, and remediation stakeholders.
• Monitor remediation progress, ensure transparency, and risk understanding.
• Develop risk scoring models for risk-based prioritization of vulnerabilities.
• Use exploratory data analysis and statistical modeling to support security decisions.
• Automate vulnerability management, reporting, and governance processes using automation and AI tools.
• Identify root causes of security issues, support problem management, and seek solutions for complex remediation cases.
• Report and communicate remediation progress, risks, key issues, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
• Mentor and support team development in cybersecurity.
