Principal Software Engineer I - CI/CD - Platform Engineering Productivity

• Deep expertise in CI/CD and securing release pipelines against supply chain attacks.
• Strong debugging skills across the full pipeline stack, from test runner to deployment.
• Hands-on experience with CI infrastructure such as Buildkite, GitHub Actions, GitOps, ArgoCD, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of AI usage to accelerate work and understanding of AI's impact on supply chain security and scale.
• Proven track record of multi-quarter, cross-organization ownership including problem identification, solution design, and driving organizational change.
• Good judgment to challenge plans when necessary and build alignment on better approaches.
• Experience in directing engineering work towards outcomes, breaking down complex problems, and ensuring delivery.

• Define the roadmap and technical vision for CI/CD from problem identification through organization-wide adoption.
• Identify and remediate CI/CD bottlenecks, friction points, or security risks proactively.
• Design and enforce release gates focusing on supply chain integrity, artifact provenance, and release readiness that scale across teams without hindering velocity.
• Direct engineers through complex, multi-quarter projects by breaking down architecture, assigning work, and owning outcomes.
• Drive clear technical communication and produce high-quality documentation for systems, processes, and architectural decisions.
• Serve as Incident Commander on high-severity supply chain or release incidents and use incidents to drive structural improvements.
• Raise engineering standards via code review, mentorship, design review, and voluntary adoption of standards.
• Remain hands-on through code review, prototyping, and debugging production issues, focusing leverage on team results.
