Senior Fullstack Java & React Developer

emagine Polska is a dynamic, international Tech Hub based in Lisbon.

• Back-end development with Java / Spring Boot.
• Spring Boot Framework.
• REST API design and implementation.
• SQL and relational databases (MS SQL Server or equivalent RDBMS).
• Version control with GIT.
• Writing unit and integration tests.
• Troubleshooting, bug fixing, and code optimization.
• Technical documentation (Confluence, IcePanel).
• DevOps practices: CI/CD, GitHub workflows and actions.
• Maven or equivalent package manager.
• Front-end development with React, Next.js.

Nice to have:

• Hibernate / JPA or equivalent ORM.
• Application architecture: Microservices, Hexagonal Architecture, Event-driven Architecture.
• AWS or other cloud platforms.

• Act as a key contributor to architecture decisions and code reviews.
• Implement REST APIs and perform back-end development with Java and Spring Boot.
• Engage in troubleshooting, bug fixing, and code optimization.
• Use version control systems to manage code effectively.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests.
• Produce technical documentation to support development processes.
• Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD workflows.
• Contribute to front-end development using React and Next.js.

The candidate should have a minimum of 5 and up to 8 years of experience working under broad direction and act as a role model to inspire team members. The position includes flexibility with hybrid work twice a week in the office located in Oriente.
