Managerka / Manager ds. Systemu Kaucyjnego

Żabka Polska operates in retail convenience stores and is implementing and managing a deposit system (system kaucyjny) to adapt to market and regulatory changes in Poland.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in deposit systems, packaging, recycling, waste management, FMCG, retail, or managing complex business projects.
• Experience managing projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking with effective execution skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to communicate with both experts and management levels.
• Strong relationship-building, persuasion, and influence skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and responsible for own actions.
• Ability to function well in a dynamic and sometimes undefined environment.
• Very good command of English.
• Very good knowledge of Excel and comfortable working with data.

Nice to have:

• Practical experience in implementing deposit systems.
• Knowledge of retail/FMCG market.
• Experience in circular economy/sustainability.
• Experience in business negotiations.
• Knowledge of processes related to collection, logistics, and packaging management.
• Experience cooperating with public administration, industry organizations, or regulators.

• Create and execute the strategy for the development of the deposit system at Żabka Polska.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and initiate value-adding actions.
• Lead large-scale projects involving various organizational departments.
• Analyze data, market trends, and regulatory changes to provide actionable business recommendations.
• Monitor system efficiency and key performance indicators; propose optimization measures.
• Collaborate with deposit system operators, technology suppliers, and external partners.
• Work with teams from Operations, Logistics, IT, Finance, Purchasing, Legal, and Sustainability.
• Represent Żabka in contacts with key external stakeholders.
• Build relationships and negotiate with partners.
• Track legal and market changes and anticipate upcoming developments.
• Prepare materials, analyses, and recommendations for management.
• Inspire the organization to seek new and improved solutions.
