Administrator Systemów IT Linux (m/k)

• Minimum 2–3 years of Linux system administration experience, preferably with Debian/Ubuntu distributions
• Practical automation skills using Bash, Python, and configuration management tools like Ansible
• Knowledge of TCP/IP stack and basic network services including DNS, DHCP, routing, and firewalling
• Familiarity with encryption protocols (TLS), web service configuration, and reverse proxies such as Nginx, Apache, or HAProxy
• Experience with container technologies like Docker or Podman
• Experience in installing, updating, and maintaining database engines like MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL
• Ability to work with system logs and diagnostic tools
• Skills in troubleshooting system, network, and performance problems
• Basic Linux system security knowledge including account management, permissions, sudo, and security updates
• Experience with monitoring systems like Checkmk, Zabbix, or Prometheus
• English language proficiency for working with technical documentation and vendor support
• Proactive problem-solving approach

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Linux security modules such as SELinux or AppArmor
• Understanding of networking concepts including switches, firewalls, VLAN, VPN, and routing basics
• Knowledge of LDAP, Kerberos, and integration with Active Directory or SSO
• Experience with the VMware virtualization platform
• Experience maintaining high-availability services or clusters
• Relevant education, trainings, or certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, LPIC, or equivalents
• Experience in enterprise or data center environments
• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD or development support tools
• Knowledge of cloud solutions such as AWS or Azure

• Administer Linux server infrastructure including installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance
• Maintain and develop environments mainly based on Debian/Ubuntu and related Linux distributions
• Update systems, packages, and system services
• Install, update, and maintain application services including web servers (Apache, Nginx) and database engines (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL)
• Manage containerized services using Docker/Podman
• Execute deployment, migration, and modernization projects in server environments
• Automate administrative tasks using Bash/SH, Python, and automation tools like Ansible
• Administer system services such as systemd, SSH, cron, logrotate, sudo, and configure firewalls using firewalld/iptables/nftables
• Monitor system performance and resources and respond to incidents
• Analyze logs and diagnose system, network, and performance issues
• Ensure system security including security updates, permissions, and best practice implementations
• Collaborate on VMware virtualization environment maintenance
• Work with infrastructure, network, and IT security teams
• Create and update technical documentation
