Embedded Software Engineer

Algoteque specializes in complex software development projects combining modern electronics, embedded technologies, and next-generation mobility solutions. The company is expanding its engineering network to develop reliable, high-performance software for connected, intelligent, and automated devices.

• Strong programming experience in C and/or C++ for embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, RTOS, or Embedded Linux.
• Practical knowledge of embedded software development, debugging, and hardware-software integration.
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, I2C, and UART.
• Understanding of embedded systems architecture and real-time software concepts.
• Experience with debugging and testing embedded software on target hardware.
• Ability to read and understand hardware documentation, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with Git and standard software development practices.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture and automotive software development standards.
• Communicative English level sufficient for working in an international engineering environment.

• Developing, integrating, and optimizing embedded software for automotive, mobility, and high-tech products.
• Designing and implementing software components for microcontroller-based and embedded systems.
• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C and/or C++.
• Working on hardware-software integration, debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
• Collaborating closely with hardware, systems, and electronics engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
• Implementing and troubleshooting communication interfaces and embedded communication protocols.
• Analyzing technical requirements and translating them into robust software solutions.
• Supporting software verification, validation, and debugging on target hardware.
• Contributing to software architecture and technical design decisions.
• Working with development and debugging tools, version control systems, and CI/CD environments where applicable.
• Participating in cross-functional engineering teams and supporting the development of innovative connected and automated products.
