Equipment Data Migration Consultant

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical qualification in engineering, information systems, data, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in data management, data migration, SAP transformation projects, preferably in industrial or equipment-intensive environments.
• Hands-on experience with SAP data migration and understanding of SAP EAM/PM data structures.
• Ability to translate business requirements into migration design and configuration using SAP Migration Cockpit or similar solutions.
• Consulting skills including structured problem solving, workshop facilitation, and clear communication.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAP transformation or rollout programs managing dependencies among equipment and related data.
• Knowledge of data governance, master data management, and data-quality frameworks.
• Experience defining migration testing, reconciliation, and acceptance criteria.
• Background in industrial equipment, manufacturing, utilities, transportation, or asset-intensive industries.
• Practical exposure to AI-enabled productivity or data tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or GPT-based solutions.
• German or French language skills.

• Advise clients on equipment data migration strategy and readiness for SAP transformations.
• Translate business and data requirements into migration object design, mapping logic, transformation, cleansing, and validation rules.
• Design end-to-end migration approach including sequencing, reconciliation logic, and quality criteria.
• Facilitate workshops with business, SAP functional, and technical teams for alignment and decision-making.
• Govern migration quality through testing, reconciliation, and exception analysis with recommendations for cutover readiness.

The role requires traveling to client locations across Europe and beyond with a hybrid work model involving remote, office, and client-site work.
